The girls confront Jenna |
Warning: If you have not yet watched the previous episode, you will not understand this recap (obviously). Also, a recap means SPOILERS!
Season one ended with still many questions unanswered, new problems, and some wrapped up ends.
With the video in their possession, the girls know the truth about Jenna and decide to confront her. Later, it turns out that Ian and police officer Garrett are working with/with her, not wanting the secrets to get out. The girls invite Garrett for backup during their plans to try to catch Ian, but who's side is Garrett really on?

Hanna deserves to know the truth. When I saw her best friend Mona continue to repeatedly lie to her, I just wanted to punch her in the face. It's cruel to keep something like: "Oh, and the guy you slept with loves you back." from anybody, let alone a friend. Why is Mona so focused on keeping Hanna and Caleb apart? At least Lucas has a good heart and drives Caleb back to Hanna.
The fact that Emily is moving to Texas is really not that dramatic. The only problem is that the girls will be separated and their days of scheming together to find A will not be the same again.
Aria's life is falling apart-AGAIN. After finding out that Ezra resigned from Rosewood and got a job at Hollis, the couple are thrilled that they get to hang out outside his apartment for once. At the mixer at Aria's house however, Jackie, Ezra's ex, shows up and she discovers that she teaches at Hollis too.
Turns out Ian is a killer. As Spencer and Melissa leave the church, they get hit by a car. Melissa is taken to the hospital, and Spencer goes back to the church to find Melissa's cell phone. Unsurprisingly, Ian is there to greet her. This makes me wonder: Did he plan all this? He chases her up the bell tower and then tries to kill her .

So the question is, what happened to the body? Did A carry the body off, not wanting the cops to find out about all the secrets and lies? In the end, the scene shows the girls standing together reading A's text (which included the B-word) while the camera zooms out above their heads. Sound familiar? Also, the show is already corresponding to the fourth book. How will they continue the story later?
